Chile and Argentina: Lakes District
Bryan Maddox is a local Fort Collins retired teacher who has spent twelve years traveling and fishing the Lakes District of Chile and Argentina. He will bring to us the Lakes District’s local culture, flora and fauna…and of course fish and fishing.
Social hour begins at 6:30, and the Program follows at 7:30. Admission is free and the public is welcome. The Fort Collins Senior Center is located at 1200 Raintree Drive off Shields Avenue between Prospect and Drake. Additional meeting information.
Note of the Day:
People who only know the trout of the Test and other chalk streams, cannot imagine how much stronger are the fish of the swift Scottish streams and dark Scottish lochs. They’re worse fed, but they are infinitely more powerful and active; it is all the difference between an alderman and a clansman.
