Flyfishing is a way of life for Grant Houx and whether in the shop or on the river, Grant is always consumed with some facet of flyfishing. After growing up in New Mexico fishing waters to the South, Grant moved to Colorado and continued his exploration of the waters in northern Colorado and southern Wyoming. Experience in flyfishing is something he certainly has. Grant truly enjoys helping people advance the sport of flyfishing and is always willing to lend a hand in improving someone’s experience, no matter what their skill level. Come find a fresh look at some places in our area.
Grant Houx is the owner of St. Peter’s Fly Shop in Fort Collins.
We will also have a representative from Colorado Trout Unlimited with information regarding the Moffatt Tunnel and its effects on the Taylor River. Hear how the Moffat Tunnel and enlargement of the Gross Reservoir affects us and what actions we can take.
Social hour begins at 6:30, and the Program follows at 7:00. Admission is free and the public is welcome. The Fort Collins Senior Center is located at 1200 Raintree Drive off Shields Avenue between Prospect and Drake. Additional meeting information.
