- September 6-7: Canyon Lakes Restoration project. RMF is now co-sponsoring this project. Find out more at http://www.wlrv.org. This volunteer project will "help restore fish habitat, protect a rare wetland, and enjoy spectacular scenery, great food and live music." - September 10: Board Meeting at Ken Eis'.
- September 13: Poudre River cleanup. We will meet at Picnic Rock at 9:00 and Dave P. will assign stretches for our volunteers. Lee and Greg will supply the food and drinks for a picnic at noon, after the clean-up.
- September 17: Mo Kirwan, co-owner of Mohenry’s Fly Shop in Frazer CO. He will be discussing Frazer River, Williams Fork, and the famous Colorado River. Mid-August, they are moving their shop to a new spot right next to Rocky Mountain Moonshine, half way between Winter Park and Fraser on the east side of US Hwy 40. They have the Fraser river right out the back door, Highway 40 out the front, and ponds to the north and south by a couple hundred yards.
