    Program: Still Water Fishing Tips and Techniques

    Wallace Westfeldt, Fish Acquisition Specialist will be presenting information about fishing still water. How to plan for different lakes. Insects and other food in still water. Various techniques including european Loch Style. In addition, I was going to give some tips on proper fish handling.
     
    Social hour and fly tying demonstration begins at 6:30 pm at the Fort Collins Senior Center, and the program follows at 7:00 pm. We will have a local fly tyer at each general meeting and an equipment raffle following the meeting. Admission is free and the public is welcome. The Fort Collins Senior Center is located at 1200 Raintree Drive off Shields Avenue between Prospect and Drake. Additional meeting information.
  • May 20: Rocky Mountain Flycasters fish the Delaney Buttes
    The lakes at Delaney Buttes are noted for having “fish the size of footballs.” Free camping is lakeside. Host is veteran Delaney Buttes fisher Frank Cada. Contact Mark Miller to join in on this trip.
