Big Thompson Watershed Coalition

As the flood waters of 2013 were receding, RMF members and other interested parties met in the back of a local fly shop and began to discuss formation of a coalition of interested landowners, public land managers, municipalities and conservation organizations to help repair the watershed and construct a resilient environment. Much of the work of this group has been conducted with partners from around the region and financial support from RMF and various Federal, State and local granting agencies. A senior member of the RMF leadership team sits on the BTWC board and RMF trained crew leaders and volunteers are often involved in restorations.Stay tuned for opportunities to volunteer for this important work!
